Course Description
Diabetes Dental Management presents an interdisciplinary approach to caring for patients with diabetes, drawing on perspectives from dentistry, ophthalmology, pharmacy, and podiatry to support coordinated care. The course offers practical tips and clinical resources based on the Healthy People 2020 objectives, with a strong focus on prevention and disease management. Diabetes is widespread in the USA and emphasis is placed on recognizing that it is often first identified in the dental setting, helping dental professionals better detect, manage, and support patients with diabetes in everyday practice.
